Citroën Vehicle Bulb Guide
Citroën Bulb References for Barbados Drivers
Original headlamp/front-fog findings checked directly against 19 NISSEI/POLARG records on 22 October 2026, across 15 model groups. Imported-vehicle catalogue scopes are not proof of Barbados, UK, French or every right-hand-drive application. Match original market, production period, literal chassis, body and factory lighting to the actual vehicle. This is not a confirmed shopping list or Riglow LED-conversion compatibility guide.
POLARG Headlamp and Front-Fog Findings
AX, 1986–1991, ZAK
H4 low; separate high blank; H3※ fog. POLARG earlier AX record.
AX, 1991–1995, ZAK
H4 low; separate high blank; H3※ fog. Keep the separate source periods despite matching findings; 1991 is a year-only overlap. POLARG later AX record.
BX, 1984–1995, XB
H4 low; separate high blank; H3※ fog. POLARG BX record.
C2, 2004 onward, A6
H4 low; separate high blank; H1※ fog. POLARG C2 record.
C3, 2002 onward, A8
H7 low; H1 high; H1※ fog. POLARG C3 record.
C3 Pluriel, 2005 onward, A42
H7 low; H1 high; H1※ fog. Preserve this separate body/model scope, not assumed all-position equivalence with C3 A8. POLARG C3 Pluriel record.
C4, 2005 onward, B5
H7 or D1S HID low, D1S part alternative incomplete; H1 high; H11※ fog. POLARG C4 record.
C4 Picasso, 2007 onward, B58
H7 or D1S HID low, D1S part alternative incomplete; H1 high; H11※ fog. Keep Picasso separate from C4 B5 and later reused names. POLARG C4 Picasso record.
C5, 2001–2004, X4, halogen specification
H7 low; high literally H4※; fog literally H4※, both 12V60/55W / 0-02. Preserve these unusual marked high/fog entries as unresolved source evidence, not a verified H4 fog-conversion recommendation. Do not rearrange positions or silently substitute H1. Confirm actual assembly and bulb markings. POLARG C5 halogen record.
C5, 2001–2004, X4, HID specification
Low literally D2R HID, 85V35W, part 3502K; H1 high; H1※ fog. The D2R/3502K type-part pairing is a source conflict, not silently corrected to D2S or 3503K. Verify actual HID type/assembly before ordering; do not infer interchangeability from the printed part. POLARG C5 HID record.
C5, 2004 onward, literal X3
H7 or D1S HID low, D1S part alternative incomplete; H1 high; H11※ fog. Preserve printed X3 rather than silently change the chassis from memory. Year-only 2004 overlaps earlier X4 records. POLARG later C5 record.
C6, 2006 onward, X6
D2S HID low (85V35W / 3502K); separate high blank; H11※ fog. Do not infer absent high-beam function or fill its technology from another model. POLARG C6 record.
Saxo, 1999 onward, S8
H4 low; separate high blank; H1※ fog. POLARG Saxo record.
Xantia, 1993–1998, X1
H1 low/high; H3※ fog. POLARG Xantia record.
XM, 1990 onward, Y3
H1 low/high; H3※ fog. No body subtype printed; do not relabel as sedan-only. POLARG XM record.
XM Break, 1992 onward, Y3
H1 low/high; H1※ fog. Preserve the separate Break body scope and H1 fog difference from the general XM H3 entry. POLARG XM Break record.
Xsara, 1998–2003, N6
H7 low/high; H1※ fog. POLARG earlier Xsara record.
Xsara, 2003 onward, N7
H7 low; H1 high; H1※ fog. Preserve high-beam change and year-only 2003 overlap rather than copy earlier N6 findings. POLARG later Xsara record.
ZX, 1992 onward, N2
H4 or H1 low; H1 high; H3※ fog. Low rating literally 12V60/55W or 55W, second voltage omitted. Do not infer every H4/high pairing or interchangeable alternatives. POLARG ZX record.
Source Qualifications
Only original headlamp/front-fog positions were checked, not brake/tail, indicators, interior or other lamps. Keep all ※ markers unresolved, including C5 high and fog; review original source notes and actual assemblies. Blank high/fog fields do not establish absent functions or equipment; H4 in a low field does not establish absent high beam. Ratings/parts generally print H4 12V60/55W / 0-02; H1 12V55W / 0-08; H3 12V55W / 0-13; H7 12V55W / 0-11; H11 12V55W / 0-20. Preserve ZX’s omitted second voltage. D1S/H7 alternative entries print 85V35W for D1S without completing its part alternative; do not fill that part from another HID type. Retain C5 D2R/3502K conflict rather than treating the printed pairing as verified. D1S, D2S and D2R are distinct, not interchangeable replacements.
Periods are year-only, not exact production months. Overlapping revision years need actual production and lighting identification, not registration year alone. Open-ended dates do not establish continued production, later generations or unchanged equipment. Preserve literal chassis labels, body-specific scopes and source anomalies without inventing corrections or all trim coverage. Halogen/HID and H4/H1 alternatives do not establish interchangeable bulbs or every low/high/fog combination.
Identify Your Citroën and Its Lighting
Right-hand drive alone does not confirm fitment. Check original regional specification, exact chassis, body, production period, trim and factory halogen/HID/LED package. Confirm existing bulb markings and socket against your vehicle’s documentation and photos. Shared designs or model names do not establish fitment; do not assume other light locations share the headlamp technology.
Replacement and LED Conversion Checks
Confirm exact bulb type, connector, locating tabs, retention, voltage, dust-cap/cooling clearance and intended function before choosing a product. Original bulb findings do not establish Riglow conversion compatibility or beam performance. CANBUS labels do not guarantee freedom from warnings, flicker or electrical issues. Similar names or connectors are insufficient compatibility evidence; the exact LED maker must explicitly support the original type. Factory HID/LED equipment needs its own verified solution.
Ask Riglow for help with original market, model/chassis, production year, body, lighting package and clear photos of the bulb, markings and connector. Use the main bulb guide for qualified shopping references only after confirming the original type. No product is confirmed as Citroën fitment by this page.
