Opel Vehicle Bulb Guide
Opel Bulb References for Barbados Drivers
Original headlamp/front-fog findings checked directly against 17 NISSEI/POLARG records on 22 October 2026, across seven model groups. Imported-vehicle catalogue scopes are not proof of Barbados, UK, German or every right-hand-drive application. Match original market, production period, literal chassis, body and factory lighting to the actual vehicle. Shared designs or Vauxhall/Holden names do not establish equivalent fitment. This is not a confirmed shopping list or Riglow LED-conversion compatibility guide.
POLARG Headlamp and Front-Fog Findings
Astra, 1991–1998, XD
H4 low; separate high blank; H3※ fog. POLARG earlier Astra record.
Astra, 1998–2004, XK
H7 low; HB3/9005 high, rating literally 12V60(65W), part 0-05; H3※ fog. Preserve malformed rating rather than silently inserting its missing unit or changing the type. POLARG middle-period Astra record.
Astra, 2004 onward, literal AH04
H1 or D2S HID low; H7 high; H3※ fog. Preserve AH04 rather than shorten or expand it to every later Astra. POLARG later Astra record.
Calibra, 1992–1997, XE
H1※ low; H1※ high; H3※ fog. Keep markers on both headlamp fields, not only the fog entry; actual assembly identification required. POLARG Calibra record.
Omega, 1986 onward, XB
H4 low; separate high blank; H3※ fog. Open-ended source period is not all-generation coverage. POLARG Omega XB record.
Omega, 1994 onward, XF, halogen specification
H1 low/high; H1※ fog. Keep distinct from overlapping XB scope. POLARG Omega halogen record.
Omega, 1994 onward, XF, HID specification
D2R HID low; H1 high; H1※ fog. Do not substitute D2S or infer conversion compatibility. POLARG Omega HID record.
Signum, 2003 onward, Z02
H7 or D2S HID low; H7 high; H3※ fog. Shared Z02 label does not establish every Vectra body/configuration as equivalent. POLARG Signum record.
Tigra, 1995–1999, XJ
H1 low/high; H1※ fog. POLARG Tigra record.
Vectra, 1988–1995, XC
H4 low; separate high blank; H1※ fog. POLARG earlier Vectra record.
Vectra, 1995 onward, XH, halogen specification
H7 low; H1 high; H3※ fog. POLARG Vectra XH halogen record.
Vectra, 1995 onward, XH, HID specification
D2S HID low; H7 high; H3※ fog. Preserve the high-beam difference from halogen H1. POLARG Vectra XH HID record.
Vectra, 2002 onward, Z02, wagon/GTS source scope
D2S HID low; H7 high; H3※ fog. Preserve printed wagon/GTS scope rather than every contemporary Vectra body or trim. POLARG Vectra wagon/GTS record.
Zafira, 2000–2005, XM, halogen specification
H7 low; HB3/9005 high (12V60W(65W) / 0-05); H3※ fog. POLARG earlier Zafira halogen record.
Zafira, 2000–2005, XM, HID specification
D2S HID low; H7 high; H3※ fog. Keep high-beam difference from halogen package. POLARG earlier Zafira HID record.
Zafira, 2006 onward, AH, halogen specification
H1 low; H7 high; H3※ fog. Source years leave 2005-to-2006 changeover timing unresolved at month level; do not invent exact dates. Preserve AH rather than replace it with Astra AH04. POLARG later Zafira halogen record.
Zafira, 2006 onward, AH, HID specification
D1S HID low (85V35W, part blank); H7 high; H3※ fog. Do not assign D2S part or assume interchangeability with earlier Zafira HID. POLARG later Zafira HID record.
Source Qualifications
Only original headlamp/front-fog positions were checked, not brake/tail, indicators, interior or other lamps. Keep all ※ markers unresolved, including Calibra low/high, and review original notes and actual assemblies. Blank fields do not establish absent functions or equipment; H4 in a low field does not establish absent high beam. Source ratings/parts generally print H4 12V60/55W / 0-02; H1 12V55W / 0-08; H3 12V55W / 0-13; H7 12V55W / 0-11. Preserve Astra’s literal 12V60(65W) rating versus Zafira’s 12V60W(65W), not silently normalized. D2S prints 85V35W / 3502K; D2R 85V35W / 3503K; D1S 85V35W with part blank. These are distinct types, not interchangeable replacements.
Periods are year-only, not exact production months. Overlapping boundaries/open-ended scopes require actual production, chassis and factory-lighting identification, not registration year alone. Open-ended dates do not establish continued production, later generations or unchanged equipment. Preserve literal chassis, body/package scopes and source anomalies without inventing corrections or all trim coverage. Halogen/HID alternatives do not establish interchangeable bulbs or every low/high/fog combination. Shared designs or regional aliases alone do not establish fitment; this index does not establish unlisted Opel, Vauxhall or Holden applications.
Identify Your Opel and Its Lighting
Right-hand drive alone does not confirm fitment. Check original regional specification, exact chassis, body, production period, trim and factory halogen/HID/LED package. Confirm existing bulb markings and socket against vehicle-specific documentation and clear photos. Do not assume other lamp locations share the headlamp technology.
Replacement and LED Conversion Checks
Confirm exact bulb type, connector, locating tabs, retention, voltage, dust-cap/cooling clearance and intended function before choosing a product. Original bulb findings do not establish Riglow conversion compatibility or beam performance. CANBUS labels do not guarantee freedom from warnings, flicker or electrical issues. Similar names or connectors are insufficient compatibility evidence; the exact LED maker must explicitly support the original type. Factory HID/LED equipment needs its own verified solution.
Ask Riglow for help with original market, model/chassis, production year, body, lighting package and clear photos of the bulb, markings and connector. Use the main bulb guide for qualified shopping references only after confirming the original type. No product is confirmed as Opel fitment by this page.
