AES M9-S S-shape angel-eye retrofit shrouds

The Riglow™ Powered by AES M9-S is listed as a pair of 5D crystal-style S-shape shrouds for custom projector-headlight builds. These are retrofit components, not complete headlights or a guarantee of visibility, beam or signalling performance.

Check projector and housing fit

Choose the listed 2.5-inch or 3.0-inch option only after confirming exact supplier dimensions, mounting geometry and housing clearance. Nominal lens diameter alone does not establish fit. Earlier claims naming Carson CS9, CS9A, BAT-2, T30S, CS25 and T25D are unverified; do not treat them as confirmed compatibility.

Confirm functions and supplied version

The listing describes white DRL, amber switchback and welcome animation. Confirm operation, return-to-white timing and trigger requirements for the supplied shrouds/controller. RGB chasing, flow, static colours, fades, brightness/speed adjustment and Bluetooth app control require supplier confirmation; do not assume every effect is included.

Automatic unlock/startup activation and generic vehicle welcome-circuit connections are not established. Crystal-style and 5D describe listed styling, not a verified LED chip model or optical performance.

Ratings and materials

Earlier values of 30W, 12V DC, white 6000K, -40°C to +85°C and up to 50,000 hours are unverified listing claims. The wattage basis per shroud or pair is unspecified. Confirm exact module/controller inputs, polarity, loads and triggers before powering. The earlier acrylic claim does not establish verified material identity, grade or thermal durability. High brightness, uniformity and longer service life are not guaranteed.

Retrofit planning

Use exact supplier diagrams and vehicle/housing procedures. Do not infer terminals from wire colours, assume a universal three-wire arrangement or connect RGB signal wires to vehicle triggers. No generic heat-gun, hair-dryer or silicone-sealant opening/resealing method is verified. Obtain qualified retrofit and automotive electrical assistance where requirements are uncertain.
